The Follow-First method is a process used to gain Twitter followers. This method is utilized in the Business package to add targeted followers.

The process itself is quite simple but when combined with data sorting and targeting parameters, has the ability to generate thousands of real fans/followers.

In the follow-first method, the first step is to follow Twitter users. In the Targeted Followers package this means using targeting parameters to filter portions of the entire network, and to follow targeted Twitter users.

A portion of the users followed will follow you back! Normally, this ratio is anywhere from 10 to 35%. Any users that do not follow you back are normally un-followed after three or four days.

There are some limitations to using this method. Under normal circumstances, Twitter users can follow a maximum of 200 to 300 people per day. If an account goes over this amount, it may be subject to being flagged by Twitter.
